About Burt Myers

In 1999, at the storied Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston Salem, a 23-year-old became the youngest driver to ever take the track’s championship. Burt Myers had broken the record that was set 55 years prior by his great uncle, Bobby Myers. Burt, who is known to the legion of fans that have voted him the most popular driver four times, was raised not only to love the oval but also to triumph on it. Burt also currently competes in the NASCAR Southern Modified Auto Racing Tour and resides in Kernersville with his wife, Kim and their children, Jade, Lauren and Slate.
